There is a team of well-educated and well-structured faculty members with rigorous academic attitude in the school. There are 80 professors, 37 associate professors, 13 lecturers, 40 experimental and engineering technicians. There are winners of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, including Professors Lian Jianshe, Jiang Qing, Zheng Weitao, Wang Huiyuan and Yan Junmin, and “Tang Aoqing Distinguished Professors” of Jilin University such as Lian Jianshe, Jiang Qing, Zheng Weitao, Jiang Qichuan, Wei Cundi, as well as other renowned scholars teaching in the school. In recent years, more than 50 people have been sent to the United States, Germany, the UK, France, Canada, Japan, Sweden, Austria, Belgium and other countries to further study, give lectures, receive training and attend academic seminars. So far, the school has produced more than 7,000 undergraduates, over 1,000 postgraduates and over 200 doctoral candidates, who make outstanding contributions to the country and society.
