Materials Physics

Description: The program covers various fields including synthesis and characterization of functional materials, the design and development of new materials and computer simulation of materials. With the specialized knowledge provided by the program, students are also given adequate access to discipline frontiers and the opportunities to gain deductive thinking of scientific research and skills in experiments guided by supervisors. This program aims to cultivate high-quality talents with solid knowledge in Physics, Chemistry and Materials Science, proficiency in computer application and foreign languages, as well as skills in material analysis and testing.

Main courses: Introduction to Materials Science and Engineering, Fundamentals of Materials Science, Condensed Matter Physics, Polymer Materials, Polymer Science, Radiology (X-ray), Physics, Metallic Materials, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry.
